Join Jakarta Cinema Club and Iflix in the screening of COCONUTS TV ON IFLIX , a new original series which explores the hidden world of South East Asia. This month we will screen 3 episodes of the series. This is a free event and attendees will receive free merchandise from Iflix!

1 - SEXY TIME - Let’s talk about sex baby. Explore the many facets of how sex has shaped South East Asia’s modern culture, music, and society. Conventional, consensual, or condescending? In this episode explore the Miss Tiffany's transgender beauty pageant in Thailand, Sexy Dangdut in Indonesia and the Sugarbook app in Malaysia.

2 - MARGINALIZED – True grit, survival, adaptation, & passion – the formula to cultivate greatness. From the point of view of historically marginalized groups within society, we examine the difference between who we are and who we want to be. In this episode we speak to little people in the Philippines and experience a day in the life of Paralympic Weightlifter Widi in Indonesia.

3 - ANIMALS AND US – Unveil spirituality, mindfulness, and healing with a legendary horse riding, kickboxing, drug-fighting monk in Thailand. Then explore a volcanic active region in Bali where nature knows no kings nor gives no mercy to the wildlife around it.
