Colombian film Thursdays continue!!!

Throughout 2018, the Embassy of Colombia in Indonesia will hold a series of screenings of popular Colombian films including the Academy Awards nominee for best foreign movie “Embrace of the Serpent”, “Gabo: the creation of Gabriel Garcia Marquez” and more. The screenings will be held once a month at the Embassy’s auditorium and will be open to public and free of charge.

On this opportunity we will be screening “Of love and other demons” A movie based on the novel with the same name by Colombian Literature Nobel prize awarded writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The movie will be screened with audio in Spanish and English subtitles.

Based on Gabriel García Márquez's novel, this is the unsettling story of 13-year-old noble Sierva and the dog bite that changes her life forever. Abandoned, displaced, in the midst of a sexual awakening and finally exorcised, Sierva finds an unlikely ally in a young priest and together they discover passion.
