Within two years Indonesia has become the most popular area to develop financial technology. Fintech innovations are here to facilitate Indonesian citizens to transact and increase economic growth. However, managing world’s 4th largest population must have its own challenges, especially as Indonesia is still a cash-based economy.

Kapil Sharma, Head of Engineering from OVO Indonesia, will explore the problem of managing large-scale users based on his experience as Head of Engineering at Paytm India; the largest mobile payment and commerce platform. Kapil will give insights to engineers in Indonesia on how they can develop and innovate Indonesia’s financial technology through the use of machine learning and business analysis processes.
