Jakarta's electronic duo Random Brothers by Blood
(Randy Danistha and Nara Anindyaguna) performs a modular project with female vocalist Dalilektra
(Dea Dalila) for the 27th Supersonik concert at IFI.
Believing in the idea that "random things will somehow lead you to a whole dimension of art and music", they will present an out-of-the-radar show as result of combining and overlapping different sounds and vibes.
Each musician here is free to establish their own rule, constantly improvising, proving that creation is always a work-in-progress and that there are no limits to it.
The "plug in and play" concept is applied to the parallel exhibition showing sound and visual installations.
Coune's Ultrasonic work invites visitors to have their body movement read and translated into sound. An experience meant to provoke individuals to be concious and in control of potentials; theirs and the technology's.
Dalilektra focuses on composing visuals that represent her "fragments of mind", reminding us that the birth of great ideas starts nowhere but within.
Self-curated together with Lalune, four artists in Supersonik #27 aim to push bounderies in contemporary music and art through concert and exhibition.
