Dear Jakarta Language Enthusiasts,

What do you know about the Netherlands?

Most of us probably would instantly imagining tulip gardens, windmolen, panekoeken, poffertjes, etc.

Or maybe you only know the Netherlands through our historical account.

But there are so much more about the Netherlands!

Do you know that the Kingdom of the Netherlands actually comprised of four countries?

They are the Sint Maarten, Aruba, Curaçao, and the Netherlands!

They all speak Dutch!

Speaking about Dutch language, do you know that there are other countries that also speak Dutch other than those four?

In the ninth Polyglot Indonesia Jakarta Chapter's Culture & Language meetup series, with Erasmus Training Centre as collaborating partner, we would like to invite you to visit the sovereign state that played a big part in Indonesian history, the Kingdom of the Netherlands!

Also, we would like to introduce you to its language, which is also spoken in Belgium and Suriname, Dutch!
