EV Hive was founded on 2015 where it was originally meant to be created for East Venture’s portfolio to work at. In mid-2016, EV Hive was finally opened for public.
On 15 May 2017, EV Hive announced the acquisition of pre-series A funding of USD 0.8 million as well as the appointment of Carlson Lau as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jason Lee as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Ethan Choi as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).[2]
In September 2017, EV Hive received another injection of funds from Insignia Venture Partners and other investors such as Intudo Ventures, East Ventures and SMDV for USD 3.5 million
